What does the price include? 
  • UNLIMITED MILEAGE IN NORFOLK AND SUFFOLK.
  • FULLY COMPREHENSIVE INSURANCE FOR ONE DRIVER, ADDITIONAL DRIVER £10 PER DAY.
  • 24 HOUR NATIONWIDE BREAKDOWN COVER.
  • FREE PARKING FOR 1 CAR PER BOOKING AT COLLECTION ADDRESS. CUSTOMERS PARKING THEIR CAR ON THE PREMISES DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK. THE OWNERS OF THE PREMISES WILL NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY FOR ANY ACCIDENTS DAMAGE OR LOSS INCURRED.
  • FULL TANK OF PETROL (WHICH MUST BE RETURNED FULL, OTHERWISE A CHARGE OF £50 WILL APPLY).
  • ALL COOKING GEAR, INCLUDING CUTLERY AND CROCKERY FOR 4 PEOPLE, POTS, PANS, KETTLE, WINE GLASSES, MUGS, CUPS ETC.

  • *PLEASE NOTE – IF YOU ARE A GROUP OF 5 PEOPLE, OR IF YOUR TEENAGER NEEDS THEIR OWN SPACE, YOU MAY NEED AN ADDITIONAL SLEEPING FACILITY E.G. A SMALL TENT OR A FREE STANDING ENCLOSED AWNING. WE CAN PROVIDE EXTRAS SUCH AS A SMALL TENT, FREE STANDING ENCLOSED AWNING (THESE DO NOT ATTACH TO THE CAMPER, TO PROTECT THEM), CAMPING CHAIRS, COOL BOX ETC. THE TENT/AWNING IS A SMALL EXTRA CHARGE, BUT IF YOU BOOK FOR A GROUP OF 5 PEOPLE WE WILL TOP UP THE FACILITIES LISTED ABOVE FOR FREE. JUST LET US KNOW WHEN MAKING YOUR BOOKING. ​​

Can we travel outside of Norfolk and Suffolk?
Generally NO, however if you would like to go further afield please do email or call us 5 weeks in advance to discuss and we will consider your request. Our vehicles are fitted with trackers and an extra charge may apply for journeys outside the county borders of Norfolk and Suffolk. Any unauthorised journeys beyond the county borders will incur the loss of your security deposit. If we agree to a journey beyond Norfolk and Suffolk, we will provide confirmation in writing. Please do not book a long distance trip without discussing and having confirmation in writing prior. 
We would like to attend a festival within Norfolk/Suffolk, which is longer than your normal rental period – can we hire a camper for a day or two longer?
Yes, subject to availability and an extra charge, we will try to work around your needs. Please email or call us to discuss and we will consider your request.
*Please Note – we do not allow awnings for festivals, however we do allow the hire of a separate tent for an extra charge. 
Before booking, can we come and see the campervans?
​Not a problem, you can come see us and decide which camper you think would suit you best, just contact us to arrange a time.
WHAT ARE YOUR OPENING HOURS? ​
​We are a small family business and we are available most of the time by phone and email to answer any queries you may have. Please call Vicky on 07941 225 777 or email us on info@retrocampersnorfolk.co.uk
​WHAT DO WE NEED TO BRING?
​All you need to bring is your bedding, towels, food, clothing and a sense of adventure!  See our What to Pack section (link) for more information. We can provide extras such as champagne and strawberries, or picnic hampers, just contact us!  Anything is possible.
ARE THE CAMPERS EASY TO DRIVE?
​As the campers are over 40 years old, they do drive differently compared to modern vehicles. Upon collection, we will give you guidance on the unique driving characteristics of these great classic campervans. If you prefer, you can take the campervan out for a short accompanied drive, but we are confident that you will pick it up very quickly, just as we did when we first drove Penny Lane. We would also recommend you watch our short video instruction on driving a classic campervan.  
DOES THE INSURANCE COVER OUR BELONGINGS?
​No, the insurance provided only covers the vehicle.  We suggest taking out some holiday or travel insurance to cover your belongings on your holiday, or to cover any cancellation beyond our control.
ARE ALL THE CAMPERS NON-SMOKING?
​Yes, they are all strictly non- smoking. If there is any evidence of smoking, you may lose all or part of your security deposit.
CAN WE BRING OUR DOG?
We are very dog friendly – your dogs (and you) are very welcome to holiday in our campers. To keep our interiors looking pristine we ask that you bring along a dog bed or blanket, and to make sure that your dog isn't left alone in the campervan at anytime. We charge £50 per pet, which covers an extra special clean for the Camper after the hire.
​​DO WE NEED TO RETURN THE CAMPERVAN WITH A FULL TANK OF FUEL?
Yes! Upon collection, your campervan will have a full tank of fuel (unleaded petrol) but you must return it full at the end of your holiday. There will be an extra charge of £25 plus the fuel charge, deducted from your deposit if we need to re-fuel. There are several petrol stations on different routes returning to Old Hunstanton, but Tesco’s in Hunstanton is the closest to our base and is generally the most competitive price too!
